Bio: Retired now! Second level teacher of English and Special Needs Co-ordinator in large, mixed rural community school in Cork. Love literature, language and teaching! It is never boring, always a challenge and frequently rewarding. No two class groups, years, are the same. It's a pleasure (mostly...!) Early retirement 2022, now full-time carer for my much beloved mother who's 87 in 2024, and has survived stroke, cancer (twice!), brain bleed, macular degeneration, arthritis etc. Despite this, progressing dementia, and being largely bed/wheelchair bound, she still has the capacity to both enjoy life and bring joy to ours. Early retirement was a good idea. 😁
